Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cullen Castrello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rubicon Brandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castrello comes to the cage accompanied by Like 70. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cullen Castrello! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rubicon Brandy! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brandy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Castrello on the wrong end of a nice hook. Castrello ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brandy moves away. Castrello misses with a body shot.
Castrello tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Brandy is able to avoid easily. Brandy misses with a hook. Castrello ducked under it nicely. Brandy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Castrello closes the distance and clinches. Brandy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Castrello on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Rubicon Brandy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brandy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Nice shot lands for Castrello. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brandy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Brandy has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Brandy misses with a looping right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castrello throws a body punch but Brandy moves out of range. Castrello misses with a wild body shot. Brandy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Castrello dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nice body kick there by Brandy. Castrello with a body punch. A glancing blow. Brandy just misses with a punch to the body.
Castrello takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Brandy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Castrello bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Castrello takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cullen Castrello is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brandy shoots in for a takedown but Castrello shows good takedown defense.

Castrello motions for Brandy to come forward. Castrello throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Brandy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Castrello misses with a straight left. Brandy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Castrello. Brandy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Castrello thuds his right hand into Brandy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Brandy thows a leg kick but Castrello checks it and Castrello counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Castrello. Brandy struggles to land a body shot inside as Castrello controls his hands.

Castrello ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brandy moves away. Brandy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Brandy there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brandy misses with a leg kick. Brandy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Brandy looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Castrello moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Brandy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Castrello is looking to wear down Brandy with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Good work by Castrello as he checks the leg kick. Good exchange - Brandy coming out on top. Castrello misses with the combination.
Castrello avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Brandy needs to keep his hands up - Castrello had a free shot at his head there. Castrello is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Brandy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Brandy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Castrello checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Castrello delivers a nice body kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Castrello tries to clinch but Brandy is having none of it. Brandy tries a head kick but it misses.
Good leg kick by Castrello there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Cullen Castrello dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Brandy goes for a double leg but Castrello avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Castrello continues to drive forward. Castrello lands with a short shot to the head. Castrello tries to land knees in the clinch but Brandy avoids the damage to the body. Castrello is stalling here.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Brandy feints and then cracks Castrello's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Castrello down. Brandy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. It looks like Castrello has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Castrello throws a predictable looking body shot

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rubicon Brandy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Brandy misses with a straight right. Castrello defending well as Brandy loads up on a big left hand. Brandy throws a leg kick and Castrello counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brandy swings away with a leg kick that misses. Brandy misses with a looping right. Cullen Castrello is winning the standup battle so far. Castrello connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Brandy pivots, looking for a leg kick but Castrello is out of range and Brandy settles back down. Brandy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Castrello is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brandy. Castrello uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brandy. Brandy thows a body shot but no joy. Castrello displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brandy. Castrello uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brandy. Castrello jabbing away but nothing is landing. A looping hook to the body misses from Brandy. Castrello does a little dance to reset his feet. Castrello throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brandy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Brandy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! You can see the frustration on Castrello's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Castrello is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Castrello is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Brandy off and has taken his back!

Rubicon Brandy has got the better of the ground game so far. Brandy staying busy and making it hard for Castrello to control. Castrello doesn't have the hooks in and Brandy manages to turn into his guard.
Brandy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Castrello swivels though and keeps the full guard. Castrello knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brandy on the ground. Castrello is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Castrello seems keen to control Brandy's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Cullen Castrello just wasn't active enough. Castrello lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brandy circles away quickly and effectively. That sent Castrello stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Castrello looks to land a combination. Brandy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Brandy fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brandy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Castrello looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
