Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyril Yamoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karelin Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Yamoth might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enter Sandman - Metallica. Karelin Roman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karelin Roman! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Yamoth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roman is looking to reverse the position. Roman is still trying to improve position. Roman struggling a bit here. Yamoth in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Roman sneaks back into half guard. Yamoth is thwarting Roman's attempts to control the position. Roman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Roman working a defensive guard here.
Roman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Yamoth defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamoth is in close to Roman's body, working some short punches and elbows. Yamoth cracks Roman with a solid left hand. Roman working a defensive guard here.
Yamoth got a little sloppy there for a moment and Roman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yamoth has managed to get both his arms back between Roman's legs - danger averted. Yamoth working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Yamoth trying to control the position from guard on top but Roman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yamoth is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Roman wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Roman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Yamoth won't allow Roman to sweep him here. Yamoth trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Roman working a defensive guard here.
Roman wants to sweep here but Yamoth controlling him for the moment. Yamoth makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Yamoth connects with a couple of short punches. Yamoth might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Yamoth scoring with some ground and pound. Roman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yamoth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yamoth manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Roman keeping moving, preventing Yamoth from controlling successfully. Yamoth drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yamoth jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Yamoth wants to control from the top but Roman keeps moving. Roman looking for a guillotine here but Yamoth defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Roman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Roman looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Yamoth is defending well. Roman quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Yamoth has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Roman celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
