Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Emerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jamal Junior enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamal Junior!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Junior scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Emerson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Emerson gets to his feet. Junior looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Jamal Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Junior drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Emerson pulls Junior in close to prevent any damage.
Emerson wants to get back to his feet but Junior is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Emerson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Junior's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Emerson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Junior wants to get up but he can't break Emerson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Junior. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Emerson enables Junior to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Emerson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Quentin Emerson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jamal Junior is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Quentin Emerson.
Well Junior has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
