The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batts scoring well with a low kick there.
Batts throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
McNamara just misses with a punch to the body.
Batts feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McNamara's calf.
McNamara ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Batts moves away.
Batts is looking to slow McNamara down with leg kicks.
McNamara gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A lazy left from Batts finds it's target.
McNamara fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Batts lands with a kick to the temple. McNamara shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

I was talking to McNamara's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Batts has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile.

McNamara ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
McNamara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Batts manages to avoid it.
Some bone on bone action there as McNamara checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
