Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sid Vicious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Nishimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nishimura slips a jab and a cross from Vicious.
Nishimura should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Nishimura fails to land the takedown.

Vicious shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nishimura's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vicious stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nishimura swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nishimura had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vicious is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nishimura Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vicious's back instead.
