Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Andersson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Wall!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Andersson enables Wall to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Andersson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Wall throws a big elbow that misses.
Andersson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wall postures up in Andersson's guard and throws a big left but Andersson blocks it.

Andersson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wall defends well.
Andersson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Wall wants to pass the guard but Andersson is keeping the position.

Wall seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sean Wall was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Andersson shoots for a double leg takedown but Wall sprawls well. He's pushed Andersson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Wall should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Andersson is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Horrible takedown by Andersson or perhaps it was just good defense by Wall which made him look bad.

Wall shoots in and bounces Andersson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wall stands up over Andersson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Wall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sean Wall hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Andersson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wall sprawls well. Wall wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Andersson gets slowly back to his feet.

Wall shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Andersson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Well Wall has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
