Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronin Samurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens shoots in but Samurai avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Owens shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Samurai's guard.
Owens has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Owens is looking to stand up but Samurai won't let him.
Samurai manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Owens manages to get himself to full guard.

Samurai feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
