Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Truvaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scotty Barrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barrett has chosen Les Paul and Mary Ford ~ I'm A Fool To Care as his entrance music. Scotty Barrett has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jose Truvaro's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jose Truvaro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scotty Barrett!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barrett gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Truvaro definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Truvaro wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Barrett is trying to trip Truvaro. He has hold of a leg but Truvaro is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Barrett persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Truvaro has a closed guard, preventing Barrett from standing up.
Barrett pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Truvaro is keeping the position for now.
Truvaro controls Barrett momentarily but Barrett frees himself.
Truvaro wants to sweep but no luck.
Barrett controlling from the top position.
Truvaro is breathing heavily.
Truvaro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Barrett jabs Truvaro to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Truvaro gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Truvaro tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Barrett is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Truvaro buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Truvaro!! Truvaro is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Barrett throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Scotty Barrett bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
