Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Danjie Mercado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mercado might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pagsubok. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danjie Mercado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Paul Meyer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mercado drops back, looking for a kneebar! Meyer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Meyer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Meyer!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Meyer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Meyer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Meyer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Danjie Mercado has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Paul Meyer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Meyer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Paul Meyer spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
The defeated Danjie Mercado had this to say: 'Well, what can I say man. He's the better man today. I'll be back. '.
