Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kron Asenio!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki feints and then cracks Asenio's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Asenio down.
Asenio shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Aoki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Aoki clinches with his opponent.
Aoki stalling.
Asenio throws a head punch that misses.
Asenio throws an elbow but it misses.

Asenio's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Asenio is trying desperately to land a takedown but Aoki is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Asenio.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Aoki takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Asenio is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Aoki's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Asenio crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Aoki - the referee stops the clock and Asenio gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Aoki. Asenio manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Aoki for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

In his post fight interview, Chan Sung Aoki started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
The defeated Kron Asenio had this to say: 'I want to say sorry to my fans, family and coaches. I left my heart in the cage for you guys, but dont worry ill be back. Thank you all!'.
