PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sammy DeJesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldo has chosen dmx as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sammy DeJesus looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Aldo!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Aldo slaps away a takedown attempt from DeJesus, before circling back to the center of the mat.

After winning the bout, Jose Aldo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
