Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gray Elbe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bentley Downer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elbe comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Man - Ozzy Osbourne. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gray Elbe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bentley Downer!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Downer throws a head kick but Elbe moves out of range.
Elbe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Downer but Downer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Downer cracks Elbe with an open hand slap.
Elbe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Downer's waist but Downer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Elbe off to one side.
Downer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Downer fails with an attempt to clinch.

Downer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Downer is pressed up against the cage. Elbe has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Downer down to the mat. Downer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gray Elbe. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Downer forces Elbe back against the cage and clinches.
Downer tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Downer lands a knee to the body.
Elbe on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Elbe jumps into guard, dragging Downer to the mat.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Elbe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Downer lying in Elbe's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Elbe decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Downer taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

After winning the bout, Gray Elbe thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
