Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chi Booka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dodelike Slag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chi Booka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dodelike Slag!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slag tries to clinch up.
Slag tries to clinch but Booka is having none of it.
Slag slips a jab from Booka.
Slag moves in looking to clinch but Booka pushes him off.

Booka rushes Slag and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Booka tries for a takedown but Slag manages to get underhooks.
Booka stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Slag wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Booka gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Slag has momentary wrist control but Booka slips an elbow through the middle.
Booka pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Slag is keeping the position for now.
Booka is working hard here to advance position.
Booka throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Booka is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Booka avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Booka wants to pass the guard but Slag is keeping the position.
Booka postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Booka postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Slag is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Booka, into his guard.

Slag stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Booka throws a right and a left that both miss.
Booka circles away from the clinch attempt.
Booka looks to score with a jab to the body but Slag is just out of range.

Booka moves into the clinch.

Booka turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Booka manages to end up in side control.
Slag is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Slag really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Booka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Booka is trying to get an arm triangle but Slag is defending well.
You can see the frustration on Slag's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Booka is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Slag knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Slag is trying to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Booka working the body and head with strikes.
Booka slows the pace down.

Booka decides to take the fight back to the feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Booka shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Booka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chi Booka dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Slag thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Booka if he has to take too many more of those.

Slag has taken the fight to the clinch.
Slag avoids the elbow strike from Booka, against the cage.
Slag has had enough of the clinch but Booka keeps him there for the moment.
Slag tries to pull guard but Booka won't allow it.

Slag manages to break the clinch.
Slag throws a sloppy head kick
and Booka counters with a good low kick that Slag was not able to check.

Slag gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Booka to score an easy takedown into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Booka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Booka lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Booka engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Slag wants to get back to his feet but Booka is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Booka is pushing down on Slag's leg trying to pass to half guard. Slag is fighting to maintain full guard but Booka has managed to sneak the leg through.
Booka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slag keeps working.

Chi Booka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Booka working over Slag with some ground and pound. Slag looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Booka is looking for a kimura here.
Booka is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Slag kicks Booka off and gets back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slag is looking to clinch but Booka is avoiding it.
Booka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Booka just misses with a punch to the body.
Booka shoots in for a double leg but Slag sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Booka.

and Booka counters by moving into the clinch.
Slag looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Slag is breathing heavily.
Booka throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Booka controlling the action here for a moment.

Booka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Slag gets tackled into the cage by Booka. Booka maintains the clinch.
Slag prevents a takedown attempt there.
Come on Booka - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Booka tries to pull guard but Slag won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chi Booka. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Booka manages to pull guard.
Slag with a flurry of punches that miss.
Booka is striking but Slag is not phased and passes to half guard.
Slag stalling away here and it's allowed Booka to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Booka manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Slag manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Slag misses with a double jab.
Slag is looking to land body kicks.
Nice shot by Slag.
Slag wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Booka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Slag looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Slag tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Booka easily slips into full mount!

Booka with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Slag is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Slag tries to hold on but Booka pushes him away.
Slag is in a horrible position here. Booka smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Booka trying to control but he's not successful this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Booka postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Slag looks a forlorn figure.

Booka with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Booka has isolated one of Slag's arms. Slag looking to fight him off but Booka twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
