Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danilo Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aljaybar Samson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Aljaybar Samson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Danilo Perkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Aljaybar Samson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins is trying hard to land a takedown here. Samson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Perkins drives through and clinches with Samson against the cage.
Perkins is looking to take this one to the mat.
Samson throws an elbow but it misses.
Perkins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Samson has Perkins pressed against the cage, preventing Perkins from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Samson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Samson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Perkins pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Samson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Perkins has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Well, with Samson on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Perkins is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Perkins covers up after that shot from Samson.
Perkins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Samson on the ground.

Samson is looking for the choke from the back position but Perkins is controlling his hands well.

Perkins is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Samson gets his way!

Samson wants to clinch up but Perkins keeps it at a distance.
Samson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Perkins avoids it really well and circles away.
Perkins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Samson pinned against the cage. Samson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Samson pulls Perkins into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Samson wants to stand up but Perkins is controlling him.

Samson gets to mount! Perkins was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Perkins is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Samson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Perkins defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Perkins shoots in for a double leg but Samson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Samson wants to finish this one by submission but Perkins is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Samson.

Perkins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Samson's waist but Samson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Perkins off to one side.
Samson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Samson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Perkins is fending him off so far but Samson persists. Nope, Perkins circles away and we're back to standing.
Perkins leaves Samson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Perkins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
