Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Sanford Sharpe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joseph Foster!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster lands a leg kick that knocks Sharpe off balance momentarily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Foster.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Sharpe is trying to escape the position but Foster is controlling the position.
Foster looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Sharpe is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Foster is controlling him well.
Foster in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Sharpe could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Foster decides to take the fight back to the feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Foster lands with a nice body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sharpe swats away the attempt to clinch by Foster.
Foster throws a quick inside leg kick.
Foster gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Foster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sharpe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Some wild striking there from Foster.
Foster cracks Sharpe with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Foster has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sharpe to stand back up!
Sharpe is rocked!
Sanford Sharpe's cut is getting worse.
Sharpe is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sharpe backs away from a small jab... but Foster lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Sharpe crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Foster with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Joseph Foster!
