Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Jameson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sau Minneo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minneo has chosen PowerTrip by Monster Magnet as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sau Minneo!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minneo lands a leg kick that knocks Jameson off balance momentarily.
Jameson throws a low kick, looking for Minneo's leg but Minneo calmly moves out of range.
Jameson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Minneo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jameson as he jumps to the side.
Minneo tries to clinch but Jameson moves out of range.
Jameson throws a push kick but Minneo slaps the foot to one side.
A punch combination from Minneo misses.
Jameson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Minneo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jameson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Minneo scrambles back to his feet.
Jameson throws a leg kick which misses Minneo's front leg but catches the back leg as Minneo tries to avoid it.
Jameson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Minneo moves in looking to clinch but Jameson pushes him off.
Minneo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jameson tries to avoid it but Minneo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jameson to the ground. Jameson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jameson connects with a solid leg kick.
Jameson looks to throw the jab but Minneo is out of range.
Jameson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Minneo counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Minneo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Minneo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jameson defends it nicely.
James Jameson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sau Minneo.

Minneo tries to clinch up but Jameson circles away and keeps his distance.

Jameson throws a chopping leg kick but Minneo manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
James Jameson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Minneo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jameson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Minneo.
Minneo misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jameson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jameson swats away the attempt to clinch by Minneo.
Jameson lands a right hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Minneo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Minneo is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jameson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Minneo.
Jameson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Minneo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jameson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jameson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Jameson closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Minneo out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

After the fight, James Jameson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
