Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kacper Golan! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.

Golan keeps control of Paul as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Golan prevents a body shot from Paul. Golan stalling against the cage.
Golan is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Paul is defending well. Golan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Golan as Paul tries to tie him up. Paul wants to get back to striking at distance but Golan won't allow it.

Golan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Paul, who protects the arm well. You can see the frustration on Paul's face as Golan controls the position. Paul is trying to control Golan's posture but Golan avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kacper Golan has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Paul scores with a jab. Golan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Paul defends it nicely. George Paul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kacper Golan. Golan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Paul sprawls well. Paul wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Golan gets slowly back to his feet. Golan shoots in but no luck this time.

It looks like Kacper Golan has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Paul gets to his feet and stands over Golan, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Golan felt that one! Paul unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Golan from any more punishment!
