Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Gelardie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gelardie has chosen domination by pantera as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Danny White has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Danny White seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny White! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Gelardie! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gelardie manages to avoid it. White doesn't manage to clinch there - Gelardie circles away.
White misses with a straight left. White looks to score with a jab to the body but Gelardie is just out of range. White gets the takedown into side control. Gelardie stops White from passing to mount. White wants to control but Gelardie is keeping him busy. White tries to advance to mount but Gelardie denies him.
That's one minute gone in the round. White wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gelardie, who protects the arm well. Gelardie is trying to escape the position but White is controlling the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gelardie can do anything to dispel that myth. Gelardie can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gelardie keeps working. White remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. White tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. White is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gelardie has managed to free his arm - good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White seems to be working for a kimura but Gelardie defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny White dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Gelardie paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from White - great work!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Danny White! Danny White retains his lightweight title! Danny White decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. Ryan Gelardie spoke after the fight, saying 'well shit....guess theirs a 1st time 4 everything lol '.
