Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Carrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Ruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Carrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Ruiz!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ruiz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ruiz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Carrell with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ruiz forces Carrell back against the cage and clinches.
Nice body punch from Carrell - that landed with a thud.
Carrell content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Ruiz is trying to break the clinch but Carrell has him pressed against the cage.
Carrell prevents Ruiz from breaking the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Carrell creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ruiz is trying to pull guard but Carrell has him pressed against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carrell lands with a short shot to the head.
Ruiz wants to break the clinch but can't.
Carrell lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ruiz.
Carrell definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Carrell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Carrell lands a big head kick that sends Ruiz tumbling to the mat! Carrell takes a step backwards and waves Ruiz back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
and Carrell counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ruiz! He's just covering up as Carrell starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Carrell!
In defeat, Ricardo Ruiz stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm sorry to disappoint the fans. I'll try harder next time'.
