Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Blow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Philips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blow's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Slippin. Trevor Philips will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Blow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Trevor Philips! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Philips misses with the combination.
Blow uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Philips. Philips throws a looping overhand right but Blow ducks down to avoid it. Blow looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Philips throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Trevor Philips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blow avoids the body shot from Philips.
Philips swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Philips rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blow moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Blow shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Philips keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blow drops an elbow to the side of Philips's head. Philips really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Philips is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Blow scores with a couple of nice shots. Philips is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Philips taking some punishment here, with Blow in his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blow working over Philips with some ground and pound. Philips looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Philips felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Blow working Philips over with strikes. Philips avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Blow. Blow thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Blow throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Blow not landing any meaningful shots this time. Philips taking some punishment here, with Blow in his half guard. Philips wants to get back to full guard. Blow is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Philips is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blow is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Philips sees it coming and defends easily. Philips is still in real trouble! Can Blow finish him? Blow looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Blow is nestled in close to Philips, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Blow takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Blow is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Philips sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Philips is trying to get back to full guard. Blow missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Philips seems to have recovered his senses. Blow lands strikes from half guard. Blow thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Philips's head. Blow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Philips keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Blow seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Blow working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Philips is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Blow scores with a couple of nice shots. Philips tries to roll over but Blow keeps him under control. Blow looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Blow frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blow with good strikes from the mount here! Blow working the ground and pound effectively.
Blow unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Philips wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Blow celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Blow! Mike Blow spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
