The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turris closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Turris lands an uppercut.
Trujillo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Trujillo is looking to break free of the clinch but Turris has double underhooks.
Turris throws an elbow that misses.
Turris works on Trujillo's body with a couple of short punches.
Trujillo tries to throw a body punch but Turris avoids it by throwing Trujillo back against the cage.

Turris wants to take the fight to the mat but Trujillo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Kyle Turris will probably get the nod.

Trujillo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Turris.

Trujillo leaves Turris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Turris tries to bum rush Trujillo with a series of wild strikes but Trujillo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
