Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bud Macintosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyon Okiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okiro swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Okiro avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Okiro looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Okiro.
Macintosh throws out a loose jab but Okiro uses good head movement to avoid it.

Macintosh manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Okiro on his heels. He'll look to pass Okiro's guard now, I'm sure.

Macintosh is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Okiro is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Okiro has escaped and now he's on top!

Okiro tries to bum rush Macintosh with a series of wild strikes but Macintosh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Macintosh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Okiro swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Okiro is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bud Macintosh will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Macintosh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Okiro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Macintosh keeps the fight on the outside.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Macintosh.
Okiro swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Okiro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Macintosh's guard.

Macintosh looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Okiro has picked Macintosh up and slammed him! Macintosh can't keep hold of the triangle and Okiro manages to pass to side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee asks Okiro politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Okiro prefers to stall for the moment though.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Okiro misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Okiro stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Okiro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Macintosh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Okiro has managed to get both his arms back between Macintosh's legs - danger averted.
