The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Best takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Billy Best has been cut.
Dos Santos looks to score with a jab to the body but Best is just out of range.
Best fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dos Santos avoids it really well and circles away.
Dos Santos misses with a head kick.
Dos Santos tries to bum rush Best with a series of wild strikes but Best uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Best slips under a jab.
Dos Santos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Best on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dos Santos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Best's head.
Dos Santos tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Best.
Best has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dos Santos is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Best is looking for a sweep. Dos Santos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Best could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dos Santos is nestled in close to Best, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Dos Santos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Dos Santos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Best does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Still in half guard, Dos Santos seems content to control.
Best might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dos Santos tries to clinch but Best moves away
and Best counters by moving into the clinch.
Best wants to take the fight to the mat but Dos Santos manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Dos Santos has Best pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dos Santos pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Best tumbling to the mat - Dos Santos dives into Best's guard.
Best looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dos Santos passes into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Best wants to get back to his feet.
Dos Santos misses with the ground and pound.

The referee asks Dos Santos politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dos Santos prefers to stall for the moment though.
