Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Mc Auley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Stanlay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Billy Stanlay! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mc Auley shoots in and drives through. Stanlay sprawls well. Stanlay throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mc Auley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stanlay's waist but Stanlay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mc Auley off to one side. Mc Auley blocks a head kick by Stanlay.

He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The fighters are battling for position here. Stanlay manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Stanlay is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Mc Auley is trying to maintain the position but Stanlay is very close to passing his half guard. Mc Auley is trying to get back to full guard. Mc Auley taking some punishment here, with Stanlay in his half guard. Stanlay seems to be working for a kimura but Mc Auley defends the submission attempt. Stanlay looks gassed! Stanlay missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Mc Auley moves into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mc Auley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stanlay doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stanlay manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mc Auley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stanlay manages to get himself to full guard.

Mc Auley trying to control but Stanlay is working from the bottom. Stanlay escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mc Auley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Stanlay tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mc Auley pushes down on Stanlay's leg and manages to get into half guard. Mc Auley passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mc Auley is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stanlay can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Stanlay is looking to get to half guard. Stanlay defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Mc Auley. Stanlay is desperately trying to improve his position but Mc Auley has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mc Auley has isolated one of Stanlay's arms. Stanlay looking to fight him off but Mc Auley twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
