The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Auggs tries to clinch but Ballard is having none of it.
Ballard bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Auggs is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Auggs throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Ballard swats away the attempt to clinch by Auggs.
Ballard really is a fat lump.
Auggs darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Auggs missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Auggs wants to free his trapped foot but Ballard is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Auggs takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Ballard is breathing heavily.
Auggs lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Ballard quite badly. Ballard pulls Auggs in close trying to recover. Auggs postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Ballard on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Ballard doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
