Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Axe Murder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pascal Kraus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Axe Murder has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Axe Murder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pascal Kraus! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murder gets a clinch. Kraus goes for a takedown attempt but Murder pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kraus has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Murder is landing a low percentage of strikes. Murder shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Murder throws a head kick but Kraus moves out of range.
Kraus is looking to clinch but Murder is avoiding it.
Murder fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Axe Murder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kraus walks into a straight right hand from Murder. Murder throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Murder throws a head kick that misses. Murder fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kraus avoids it really well and circles away. Murder tries to clinch up. Murder shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kraus pinned against the cage. Kraus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Axe Murder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Murder misses with a double jab
and Kraus counters with a takedown into side control. Murder is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Murder tries to escape but Kraus is in control. Kraus looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kraus decides to stand back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kraus. Murder thuds his right hand into Kraus's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Murder throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kraus counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Murder! Kraus taking a breather here. Kraus's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Murder looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kraus prevents Murder from escaping the position. Kraus working the head with strikes. Murder trying to remain calm as Kraus controls from the top position. Murder prevents Kraus from improving position. Kraus has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kraus dodges the punch combination from Murder.
Kraus closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Murder to the mat! Murder manages to get full guard. Kraus stands up from guard. Let's bang! Murder tries to clinch but Kraus is having none of it. Murder throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kraus counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kraus.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murder keeping full guard, as Kraus tries to pass. Kraus pushes down on Murder's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kraus scoring with strikes to the body and head. Kraus stalling. Kraus wants to pass to mount but Murder is defending the position. Kraus is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Pascal Kraus wasn't active enough on the ground. Murder misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murder throws a right hand that Kraus ducks under and follows up with a left that Kraus also avoids with ease. A momentary lapse in concentration from Murder enables Kraus to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Murder manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Kraus pushing down on Murder's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kraus decides to stand and escape the position. Kraus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Murder's waist but Murder gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kraus off to one side. A right-left combo lands from Murder. Kraus drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Kraus seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kraus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kraus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pascal Kraus dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A left lands for Murder. Kraus tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Murder swivels and escapes. Murder swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kraus shoots in but Murder avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kraus darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kraus sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Murder defending well though. Kraus decides to stand and escape the position. Kraus has a takedown stuffed. Axe Murder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pascal Kraus. Kraus is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Murder's half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kraus thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Murder wants to get back to his feet. Kraus seems to be working for a kimura but Murder defends the submission attempt. Kraus is working for a submission of some sort.
Pascal Kraus has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Murder is trying to stand back up but Kraus is controlling him
Kraus is taking a breather. Murder says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kraus wants to control but Murder is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kraus connects with a nice short shot to Murder's temple. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kraus in particular looking to stall. Murder looks like he's trying to stand up.

Murder tries to bum rush Kraus with a series of wild strikes but Kraus uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Murder clinches. Kraus wants a takedown but no success here.

Murder keeping full guard, as Kraus tries to pass. Kraus is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. That's four minutes gone in the round. Kraus looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kraus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Murder is keeping the position for now. Kraus slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Pascal Kraus was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kraus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Murder defends it nicely. Murder doesn't manage to clinch there - Kraus circles away.

Pascal Kraus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Murder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kraus leaves Murder with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Murder tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kraus swivels and escapes. Kraus looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Murder! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Murder is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Kraus scoring with punches and elbows. Kraus stands up and beckons Murder to his feet. Kraus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kraus has knee on belly and moves into mount. Murder is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Kraus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kraus lands a nice shot to the head. Kraus has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kraus is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Murder is surviving well by controlling Kraus's body position as best he can. Kraus wants to finish this one by submission but Murder is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kraus. Kraus with the ground and pound from mount. Murder is squirming around, avoiding Kraus's attempts to control the action. Kraus is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Murder has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murder tries to buck Kraus off but he can't manage it. Kraus landing shots from mount. Kraus is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Murder to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Murder shrugs it off. Kraus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. This has been an exciting period of action! Murder is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Murder trying to control the position from guard on top but Kraus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Murder in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kraus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Murder manages to get himself to full guard.

Kraus wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Murder is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Kraus looking to control and managing it successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Axe Murder has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pascal Kraus is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kraus is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Murder to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Murder shrugs it off.
And that's the end of the fight! Pascal Kraus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kraus winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
