Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fenix Espada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Espiridion Araya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fenix Espada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Espiridion Araya!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araya connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Espada's hands.
Espada throws a push kick but Araya slaps the foot to one side.
A head kick by Espada misses
and Araya counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Espada has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Araya works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Araya seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Espada does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Espada might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Araya in particular looking to stall.
Espada is looking to control Araya's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Espada avoid being mounted?
Espada is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Araya misses with a looping right.
Espada lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Espada on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A head kick misses from Araya.
Araya throws a head kick but Espada moves out of range.
Nice body kick from Araya.
Fenix Espada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Araya shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Espada's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Araya trying to control the position from guard on top but Espada is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Araya stays in close to Espada's body and controls the position.

Espada lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Araya!
Araya is trying desperately to improve position.
Espada content just to control the position here.
Espada trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Araya is trying to escape the mount.
Espada takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Espada tries to control but Araya wriggling away.
Araya regains half guard.
Araya is trying to get back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Fenix Espada just wasn't active enough.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Araya lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Espada backs up against the cage.
Espada lands a left and a right that send Araya crashing to the mat, dazed. Espada thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Araya is rocked!
It looks like Espiridion Araya has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Espada throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Araya is still on wobbly legs! Can Espada finish him?
Espada throws a nice inside leg kick.
Espada tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Araya seems to have recovered his senses.
Espada throws a solid leg kick but Araya takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Espada.
Araya throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Araya smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Araya misses with a body kick.
Araya's coach down at Soul Supremacy Elite Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Araya's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Araya shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Espada but Espada pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Espada is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Araya throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Espiridion Araya will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Espiridion Araya's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Espada fails in his attempt to clinch.
Espada circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Araya drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Espada follows Araya to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fenix Espada!
