Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Jo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Dween (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, James Jo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimmy Dween! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jo throws a right hand that Dween ducks under and follows up with a left that Dween also avoids with ease. Jo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dween tries to clinch up but Jo circles away and keeps his distance. Jo tries to clinch up but Dween circles away and keeps his distance. Jo moves into range and clinches up with Dween. Dween has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jo after a bit of a struggle. Jo tightens his grip and picks Dween up, before dumping him to the ground. Dween manages to land in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jo won't allow Dween to get back to his feet. Dween is pulling down on Jo's head to control his posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dween is trying to keep Jo in close.
Jo throws an elbow that misses. Dween uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jo's guard. Nice move by Dween! Dween is looking to stand up but Jo won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dween pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jo is keeping the position for now. Jo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dween is one step ahead there. Jo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dween wants to get up but he can't break Jo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Dween pushes down on Jo's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jo keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dween content to stall in guard here. Dween loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dween sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dween looking to pass the guard. Jo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dween postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dween is one step ahead there.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jimmy Dween was stalling too much, according to the referee. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dween.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dween lands a two punch combo.
Jo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dween to the ground. Jo is now in Dween's guard. Jo wants to pass the guard but Dween is keeping the position. Dween wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Jo wants to control from the top but Dween keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dween manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Dween misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

A close round but Jimmy Dween will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jimmy Dween was stalling too much, according to the referee. Jo tries to bum rush Dween with a series of wild strikes but Dween uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jo looks to land a combination but Dween avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dween swats away the attempt to clinch by Jo. Dween tries to close the distance and clinch but Jo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. James Jo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dween throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jo's waist but Jo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dween off to one side. James Jo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Dween. Dween is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Dween pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dween tries to clinch but Jo moves out of range. James Jo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jo moves in looking to clinch but Dween pushes him off. Jo rushes Dween and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dween tries for a takedown. No joy.
Dween is breathing heavily. Dween's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jo tries to clinch but Dween moves out of range. Jo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jo misses with a few strikes there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Jo misses. Jo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dween circles away quickly and effectively. Dween shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jo but Jo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dween. No luck for Dween with that takedown attempt. Dween throws a head kick that misses. Dween should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dween tries to close the distance and clinch but Jo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jo misses with the combination.

Dween closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dween lands in his opponent's guard. Dween scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dween throwing strikes but missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Jo dominated that second round. That's time! Jo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Dween is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jo's half guard. Dween prevents Jo from improving his position. Dween wants to pass to mount but Jo is defending the position. Dween sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jo defending well though. Dween is looking to stall here but Jo recovers full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jimmy Dween hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Dween tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jo is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dween. Jo moves into the clinch. Dween breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dween shoots in but Jo avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dween on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Jo misses with a few strikes there.

Jo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Dween shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jo pinned against the cage. Jo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jo pushes Dween against the cage but Dween circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dween closes the distance and pushes Jo back into the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dween jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jo walks away with a smile on his face. Dween gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dween tries to clinch but Jo is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Jo. I think Jo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
