Johnson has chosen plastic gangster as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Sonnen blocks a head kick by Johnson.
Johnson throws the kick towards the body but Sonnen avoids it.

Sonnen clinches up against the cage.
Johnson tries to pull guard but Sonnen won't allow it.

Sonnen lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Johnson is looking to improve his position.
Sonnen is thwarting Johnson's attempts to control the position.
Johnson is looking to get back to full guard here but Sonnen has managed to pass to side control instead.
The referee asks Sonnen politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Sonnen prefers to stall for the moment though.
