Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Callum Mccluskey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandom Wellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wellis has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Brandom Wellis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Callum Mccluskey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandom Wellis! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.

Mccluskey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Wellis! Wellis parries the strikes from Mccluskey easily there. Mccluskey is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Wellis to escape.
Mccluskey remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Mccluskey cracks Wellis with a big right hand but Wellis just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Mccluskey working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Mccluskey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mccluskey is trying to get an arm triangle but Wellis is defending well. Wellis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mccluskey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mccluskey throws an elbow but Wellis slips to the side and avoids it well. Wellis looks winded! Mccluskey rushes Wellis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Mccluskey - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Mccluskey lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Mccluskey tightens his grip and picks Wellis up, before dumping him to the ground. Wellis manages to land in guard. Mccluskey slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Mccluskey distracts Wellis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mccluskey controls from within his opponent's guard.
Mccluskey stands up from Wellis's guard - Mccluskey perhaps looking for a knockout.

Mccluskey scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Mccluskey is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Wellis will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Mccluskey in side control, throwing shots but Wellis defends.
Mccluskey decides to stand up, so the ref orders Wellis to his feet.
Mccluskey darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Mccluskey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wellis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Mccluskey controlling the action here. Mccluskey lands strikes from half guard.

Mccluskey throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Mccluskey trying to control the pace. Mccluskey uses his free foot to push down on Wellis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wellis. Mccluskey scoring with strikes but Wellis is staying in there.

That has opened up Brandom Wellis's cut even more. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mccluskey controlling from the full mount. Mccluskey unloading with bombs! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Callum Mccluskey dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brandom Wellis's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mccluskey closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mccluskey has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wellis avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Mccluskey taking a breather.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Wellis is breathing heavily.

Brandom Wellis's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brandom Wellis's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Callum Mccluskey! In his post fight interview, Callum Mccluskey gave a big smile as he said 'i just want to thank all of my fans for support and my manager mohammed and of course my gym and that i would love a title shot.thanks'.
