Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William Wallace has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stefan Zamora! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, William Wallace! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace pushes Zamora up against the cage in a clinch. Zamora tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Zamora tries to score a body lock takedown but Wallace shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Zamora is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stefan Zamora. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wallace tightens his grip and picks Zamora up, before dumping him to the ground. Zamora manages to land in guard. Zamora really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wallace sitting in guard, not really doing much. Zamora tries to land a sweep but no joy. Wallace throws an elbow that misses. Zamora uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wallace's guard. Nice move by Zamora! Zamora tries to stand but Wallace is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace has Zamora pulled in close to control his posture. Zamora trying to control but Wallace is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wallace clinches. Zamora wants a takedown but no success here.
Zamora tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wallace just stands there and leans against the cage. Wallace pressing his opponent against the cage. Zamora tries to pull guard but Wallace won't allow it.
Wallace gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Wallace engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
William Wallace has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Wallace is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Zamora's half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zamora wants to improve his position but Wallace is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Zamora is looking to control Wallace's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zamora avoid being mounted? Wallace controlling the pace. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wallace connects with a nice short shot to Zamora's temple. Zamora trying to control from the bottom.
Zamora is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Wallace jumps into side control! Wallace working the head and body with strikes.
Zamora is rocked! Wallace slows the pace down. Oh Zamora is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wallace scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Zamora is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Wallace can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
