Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Blagoi Mladenov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Demarce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Demarce told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mladenov wants to slow Demarce down by chopping away at his legs.
Mladenov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Demarce closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mladenov to the mat! Mladenov manages to get full guard.
Demarce must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mladenov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Demarce moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mladenov gets caught napping as Demarce dives in and scores a takedown. Mladenov manages to retain guard.

Demarce has gone for a leg lock! Mladenov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Demarce's guard.

Mladenov throws a nice looking combination but Demarce bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Demarce will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Demarce tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mladenov defends well and Demarce ends up having to push Mladenov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
