Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocky Rivers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bruce Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rocky Rivers! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivers fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lee connects with a single shot there. Rivers shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense. Rivers closes the distance looking to clinch enabling Lee to counter with a crisp jab. Rivers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rocky Rivers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rivers slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Nice shot by Lee. Lee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rivers. Bruce Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Rivers. Lee lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rivers fails with a takedown attempt. Rivers takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rivers moves to clinch but Lee breaks away and Lee counters with a nice uppercut. Rivers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee. Rivers doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
A low kick from Rivers is predictable there and Lee counters with a right hand to the body. Rivers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Lee counters with a head kick. That will keep Rivers thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Lee lands with an overhand left. Lee throws a lazy right hand but Rivers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lee throws a head kick that misses. Lee connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rivers misses with a hook
letting Lee counter with a right hand. Lee lands a glancing blow to the side of Rivers's head. Rivers is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lee is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Rivers. Rivers misses with a shot to the body and Lee counters with a nice uppercut. Lee checks the leg kick nicely there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rivers moves forwards but Lee connects with a nice, crisp jab. Lee is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. A swing and a miss from Rivers. Lee missing with a left hand there. Rivers was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lee is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Lee scores with a jab. Rivers thows a leg kick but Lee checks it and Lee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lee thuds his right hand into Rivers's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Nice defenses there by Rivers. Rivers has a takedown stuffed. Lee throws a head kick that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee looks to land a left hand but Rivers moved out of range nicely. Lee jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lee looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Lee with a body punch. A glancing blow. Rivers misses with a hook. Rivers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Rivers. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice defenses there by Rivers. Rivers shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've been informed that Rivers has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Rivers throws out a loose jab but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rivers looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Lee dominated that round. That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rivers misses with a straight right. Lee lands with a kick to the temple. Rivers shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Rivers throws a leg kick but Lee sees it coming and moves out of range. Lee throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A low kick from Rivers is predictable there and Lee counters with a flying knee. Nice. Rivers wants to clinch. Lee misses with a looping left. Rivers moves to clinch but Lee breaks away and Lee counters with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rivers slips a jab from Lee. Lee throws a jab but it's blocked by Rivers. Bruce Lee is winning the standup battle so far. Rivers thows a body shot but no joy. Lee listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Bruce Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rivers misses with a takedown attempt enabling Lee to counter with a crisp jab. No luck for Rivers with that takedown attempt. Lee takes a swing at Rivers's ribcage but misses. Lee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivers moves out of range as Lee strikes. Rivers misses with a wild body shot. Rivers throws a leg kick and Lee counters with a lovely shot to the body. Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A head kick from Lee lands but Rivers takes it in his stride. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lee throws a combination. Rivers tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Rivers is looking to chop away at Lee's legs. A looping hook to the body misses from Rivers. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet. Lee throws a shot from downtown. Rivers moves away and avoids it. Lee cracks Rivers with a good jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rivers stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Lee throws a head kick but Rivers moves out of range.
Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Rivers, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bruce Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Rivers. The fighters circling - Rivers throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Rivers might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Lee has got the better of the exchanges. Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rivers throws a right hand that misses
and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rivers throws out the jab. Rivers on the wrong end of a nice jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rivers moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Rivers looks to land a right hand but Lee moved out of range. Rivers walks into a left hand. Rivers just misses with a punch to the body.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee lands with a shot to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rivers swings away with a leg kick that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Lee makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rivers throws a body kick that misses and Lee counters with a straight right hand. Rivers on the wrong end of a nice hook. Lee feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Riverss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rivers. Bruce Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Rivers. Lee scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rivers doesn't seem bothered though. Lee tests Rivers's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee throws a combination. Rivers tries to block but a couple of punches get through. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lee paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Rivers drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Lee tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rivers wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Rivers forces his way into half guard. Lee wants to improve his position but Rivers is controlling well.
Rivers content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rivers is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lee can't escape the position.
Lee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rivers swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
