Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Tatam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayme Thales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tom Tatam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jayme Thales!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tatam fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Thales to the ground. Tatam is now in Thales's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tatam wants to pass the guard but Thales is keeping the position.
Tatam advances to half guard.
Tatam sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Thales is trying to control but can't.
Tatam performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Tatam's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tom Tatam.

Tatam fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Thales sprawls well initially but Tatam persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tatam lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Thales looks like he's trying to stand up.
