Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCorronas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lester tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McCorronas is in Lester's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McCorronas looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Lester has his foot on McCorronas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McCorronas works his way back into a safe position though.
McCorronas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McCorronas is looking to stand up but Lester won't let him.

Lester tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Lester escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McCorronas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lester pulls McCorronas in close to prevent any damage.
We've been hearing good reports from McCorronas's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Lester enables McCorronas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lester manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McCorronas is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lester is keeping busy.

Lester tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

We've been informed that Lester has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The fight stays on the outside here - McCorronas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lester shoots in for a takedown but McCorronas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
