Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Flash Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Havens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havens has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gordon drags the fight down to the ground.
Gordon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Havens gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gordon looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Havens trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gordon's guard.
Gordon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gordon working for a triangle but Havens defends it easily.
Gordon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Havens is one step ahead there.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gordon holds on and takes a little breather.
Gordon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Havens gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gordon pulls Havens in close to prevent any damage.
Havens wants to get up but he can't break Gordon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Havens advances to half guard.
Gordon is pressing down on Havens's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Havens avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Havens trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Havens trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gordon's guard.
Gordon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gordon is breathing heavily.

Gordon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Havens doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Havens manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Havens stands up from guard. Let's bang!
The crowd cheers as Havens lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gordon doesn't seem phased though.
Havens fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Havens explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Gordon lands with a slapping head kick.
Havens throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Havens goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Havens, as that shot connected.
Havens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gordon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Havens moves away.
Havens tries to clinch but Gordon moves out of range.
Havens moves into the clinch successfully.
Gordon jumps guard.
Havens tries to free his leg and advance position but Gordon is retaining full guard.
Havens wanted to stand there but Gordon had control of the position.
Gordon has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Gordon is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Flash Gordon will probably get the nod.
That's time! Gordon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Havens misses with a few strikes there.
Some wild striking there from Havens.
Havens throws a head kick but Gordon moves out of range.
Gordon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Havens as he avoids it easily.

Flash Gordon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gordon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Havens swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Havens keeps the fight on the outside.
Gordon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Havens tries to clinch but Gordon is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gordon clinches but Havens breaks the clinch
and Havens counters with a one-two to the body.
Havens throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gordon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Havens looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Havens swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gordon avoids the head kick by Havens.
Gordon clinches up with Havens and pushes him back against the cage.
Havens tries to break the clinch but Gordon is controlling the position.
Havens has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gordon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Havens is looking to break free of the clinch but Gordon has double underhooks.
Gordon keeps control of Havens as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Havens has had enough of the clinch but Gordon keeps him there for the moment.
Gordon lands a nice knee to the body.
Gordon pulls Havens into guard.

Gordon had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Havens is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gordon Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Havens's back instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gordon lands a shot to the body.
Gordon missing with strikes.
Gordon is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Havens knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Havens for a finish.
Gordon tries to keep control of the position but Havens is staying busy.
Gordon has the hooks in. Havens is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Havens is really stuck here.
Havens controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Gordon is looking for the choke from the back position but Havens is controlling his hands well.

Havens is trying to get back to his feet but Gordon has full control of the position and if anything, Havens has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Havens trying to control the action but Gordon just sinks the hooks in.
Gordon is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Havens has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Gordon has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Havens taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Gordon doesn't care though - he's delighted!
