Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Art Vandalay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noel comes to the cage accompanied by Doom. Art Vandalay will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Danny Noel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Art Vandalay! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vandalay dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Vandalay has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Vandalay changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Vandalay lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Vandalay fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Noel manages to avoid it. Vandalay digs a good hook to Noel's body.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vandalay attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Art Vandalay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A cross from Vandalay lands. Vandalay throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Noel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vandalay.
Vandalay dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Noel. That did some damage!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab from Vandalay. Vandalay throws a low kick but Noel moves out of range easily. Vandalay tries to land a front kick but Noel steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A jab from Vandalay finds it's way through Noel's defenses. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Noel checks a leg kick. Good work by Noel as he checks the leg kick. Noel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Noel takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Vandalay jabs at Noel's body. Vandalay is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Noel rather than just go for the knockout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Noel closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Vandalay fakes the leg kick and cracks Noel in the body. A punch lands to the side of Noel 's head but he takes it in his stride. Vandalay with a jab. A slow jab from Vandalay misses its intended target. Noel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vandalay. Vandalay throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Noel sees it coming and avoids it easily. Vandalay bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Noel seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noel moves out of range of the leg kick from Vandalay. Vandalay paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Vandalay lands a body shot.
Noel moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Vandalay lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Noel is rocked! Vandalay tries to work over Noel's front leg with a kick but Noel checks it. Noel on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Oh Noel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vandalay is looking to land body kicks. Noel seems to have got his legs back now. Vandalay lands with a right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Noel ducks under a wild hook from Vandalay. Vandalay tries to bum rush Noel with a series of wild strikes but Noel uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Vandalay lands with a nice body punch. Vandalay lands with a straight right. Noel didn't see that one coming. Vandalay jabbing away but nothing is landing. Noel takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Vandalay throws a push kick but Noel slaps the foot to one side. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Noel blocks a low kick nicely. Vandalay lands a body shot.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Art Vandalay dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
The fighters circling - Vandalay throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Noel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Vandalay dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Vandalay jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Noel with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vandalay to score with a decent uppercut. Noel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vandalay. Vandalay throws a nice looking combination but Noel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Vandalay has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Vandalay throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Noel sees it coming and avoids it easily. Vandalay lands a nice looking body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vandalay fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Vandalay lands a jab to Noel's midsection. Vandalay scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Vandalay drops Noel with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Noel looks back up at him and smiles so Vandalay waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vandalay changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Noel might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Vandalay lands a nice shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vandalay waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Noel. Vandalay scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Jab by Vandalay. Art Vandalay seems to be getting the better of the standup. Vandalay throws a hook but Noel blocks it. Vandalay throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Noel's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Vandalay dives in looking to finish as Noel flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Vandalay's strikes! Vandalay is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Noel's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Noel was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Art Vandalay!
