The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennox throws a low kick, looking for Borschtanoff's leg but Borschtanoff calmly moves out of range.
Borschtanoff misses with a kick to the body.
Lennox lands a nice hook to Borschtanoff's body. Borschtanoff takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lennox connects with a leg kick. Borschtanoff looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Lennox with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Borschtanoff to score with a decent uppercut.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lennox crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Borschtanoff - the referee stops the clock and Lennox gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Borschtanoff. Lennox manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Demitri Borschtanoff retains his title. It's always disappointing when a championship fight ends as a draw but that's what happens when you leave the fight in the judges hands!
