Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Coffey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakuru Jakuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakuto throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Coffey tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jakuto is in Coffey's guard.
Coffey thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Coffey lands an upkick as Jakuto stands over him.
Coffey wants to sweep but no luck.
Coffey manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Coffey connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Jakuto tries to hold on but Coffey postures up.

Jakuto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jakuto's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Coffey prevents Jakuto from getting the reversal.

Coffey is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jakuto can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Coffey postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jakuto looks a forlorn figure.

Jakuto is bucking up trying to escape but Coffey cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Coffey jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jakuto manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Jakuto wants to get back to his feet but Coffey drags him back down.

Jakuto slaps away a takedown attempt from Coffey, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Coffey has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jakuto clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Jakuto rolls, trying to escape but Coffey keeps control of the position.

Coffey is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Coffey gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Coffey gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Coffey apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Jakuto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coffey moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Jakuto has closed the distance and engaged Coffey in a clinch.
Coffey is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jakuto is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Coffey to the mat. Coffey regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Coffey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jakuto has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Coffey is working away from the top position though.
Coffey seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coffey is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jakuto is just riding it out for now. Coffey eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
