Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keiko Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keiko Kimura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Silva!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Silva misses with a two punch combination.
Kimura misses with a double jab.
Kimura stuffs the takedown.
Silva stalks Kimura and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kimura's face. Kimura staggers backwards, shaken.
Kimura throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva throws a body punch but Kimura moves out of range.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kimura tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kimura to the ground. Kimura escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Kimura enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kimura manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Silva pushes down on Kimura's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kimura scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Silva manages to mount him!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kimura has his hands clasped together but Silva breaks the hold and Kimura is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Silva!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chris Silva!
