Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Master Garcilazo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Osty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Osty moves into the clinch successfully.
Garcilazo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Osty walks away with a smile on his face. Garcilazo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Garcilazo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Osty sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Osty closes the distance and clinches.
We've been hearing reports that Garcilazo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Garcilazo tries to pull guard but Osty forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Garcilazo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Osty is fending him off so far but Garcilazo persists. Nope, Osty circles away and we're back to standing.
Garcilazo is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Osty.
Osty moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Garcilazo takes an elbow to the forehead.
Garcilazo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Osty smiles and moves away.

Osty moves into range and clinches up with Garcilazo.
Osty lands a damaging elbow.

Garcilazo jumps guard but Osty stands there with Garcilazo around his waist. Garcilazo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Osty digs a right hand into Garcilazo's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Garcilazo's gas tank.

Osty wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Osty lands an elbow just above Garcilazo 's eye.

Osty breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Osty tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Garcilazo was well out of range. Poor timing from Osty.

Osty pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Osty slaps away a takedown attempt from Garcilazo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Garcilazo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Garcilazo tries to pull guard but Osty holds him up against the cage and eventually Garcilazo drops back down to his feet.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Osty wants to break the clinch but can't.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Osty breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Garcilazo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Master Garcilazo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Garcilazo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Osty on his heels. He'll look to pass Osty's guard now, I'm sure.

Osty wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Garcilazo.
Osty holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Garcilazo tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Garcilazo quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Garcilazo but it's paid off an Osty is forced to tap! Nice work by Garcilazo.
