Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Allan Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Pattersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Allan Cannon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Doug Pattersson! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cannon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Pattersson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Pattersson working over Cannon with some ground and pound. Cannon looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Pattersson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cannon's head. Cannon trying to hold on to Pattersson's head to control him but Pattersson postures up.
Pattersson controlling the action here. Pattersson is trying to control the action in half guard but Cannon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pattersson wants to get back to his feet.
Pattersson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Pattersson trying to control from half guard but Cannon is working away. Nice strikes from Pattersson there. Cannon is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cannon trying to control from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pattersson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cannon. Pattersson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Pattersson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Pattersson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pattersson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Pattersson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cannon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pattersson is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pattersson tries to stand but Cannon is controlling from the bottom. Pattersson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cannon's head. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pattersson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pattersson cracks Cannon with a solid left hand. Pattersson cracks Cannon with a solid left hand. Cannon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pattersson controls the pace. It looks like Pattersson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Cannon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pattersson defends well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doug Pattersson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cannon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pattersson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Cannon wants to stand up but Pattersson is controlling him. Pattersson trying to control the position from guard on top but Cannon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cannon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pattersson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cannon's head. Cannon can't keep his opponent in guard - Pattersson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Cannon is trying to stand back up but Pattersson is controlling him
Nice strikes from Pattersson there. Pattersson stops Cannon from getting back to his feet.
Cannon pushes Pattersson off but Pattersson dives into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cannon struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pattersson landing a few strikes. Cannon wants to control but Pattersson postures up. Cannon trying his best to control but Pattersson has mounted him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A nice elbow there by Pattersson. Pattersson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cannon is rocked! Pattersson lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cannon hang on? Oh Cannon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Oooooh, big shot lands for Pattersson! Cannon is hurt baaadly! Pattersson is firing away with more strikes - Cannon is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doug Pattersson! Doug Pattersson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
