Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Nestor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nestor's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ain't no grave. Crane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Broken Bones - Decapitated. Ichabod Crane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ichabod Crane! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice cross by Nestor. Nestor throws a head kick but Crane moves out of range.
Nestor scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Nestor scores with a decent looking hook. Crane takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. This has been an exciting period of action! Crane swats away the attempt to clinch by Nestor. Nestor buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Crane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nestor. The fight stays on the outside here - Nestor looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Crane shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nestor defends it nicely. Nestor looks to land a right hand but Crane moved out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nestor lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A kick lands to the mid section there for Nestor. Crane walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crane gets a takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Nestor is looking to escape. Crane scoring with strikes to the body and head. Crane takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Crane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nestor tries to roll over but Crane keeps him under control. Crane missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Nestor is looking to improve his position.

Crane is keen to just control but Nestor is a slippery customer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nestor is looking to escape. Nestor blocking the ground and pound attempt from Crane. Crane is nestled in close to Nestor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Nestor wants to get back to his feet. Crane missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Crane thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Nestor looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crane throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Crane thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Crane thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nestor's head. Crane missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Nestor gets back to full guard.

Nestor connects with a crisp jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dustin Nestor dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nestor connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Nestor loads up on a big right hand but Crane slips the punch. Nestor throws out a loose jab but Crane uses good head movement to avoid it. Nestor dips to his left and cracks Crane with an uppercut! Nestor throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A lazy left from Nestor finds it's target. Nestor scores with a body shot.

and Crane counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Nestor! Nestor is trying to buck Crane off. Crane throwing shots but missing, from side control. Nestor parries the strikes from Crane easily there. Crane is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Nestor to escape.
Nestor tries to escape but Crane is in control. Nestor takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crane working the ground and pound from side control. Nestor manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Nestor wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Crane uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Crane manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Nestor sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Nestor is looking to improve his position.
Crane throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crane lands with a punch from half guard. Nestor has hold of Crane's hands but Crane slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Crane working some strikes from top position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Crane won't allow Nestor to get back to his feet. Crane with a flurry of punches that miss. Nestor is looking to stand up but Crane isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Crane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nestor scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Ichabod Crane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Nestor pivots, looking for a leg kick but Crane is out of range and Nestor settles back down. Nestor misses with a looping left. Dustin Nestor is winning the standup battle so far. Crane needs to keep his hands up - Nestor had a free shot at his head there. Nestor throws a jab but it's blocked by Crane. Nestor wants to clinch. Nestor throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nestor misses with a leg kick and Crane counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nestor's guard now. Crane is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Crane loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ichabod Crane has got the better of the ground game so far. Crane stops Nestor from standing up.

Nestor seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Crane won't allow Nestor to get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Crane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Nestor controls Crane momentarily but Crane frees himself. Nestor being controlled here, momentarily. Nestor is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Crane makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Crane wants to control from the top but Nestor keeps moving. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nestor is looking to stand up but Crane isn't so interested in that idea. Crane loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Crane prevents Nestor from getting back to his feet. Crane stands up over Nestor, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nestor looking for a sweep. Not yet Nestor, not yet. Crane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Crane looking to pass the guard. Crane working some strikes from top position. Crane prevents Nestor from getting back to his feet. Crane with a nice head shot there. Crane trying to control the position from guard on top but Nestor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crane connects with a couple of short punches.
Nestor is rocked! Nestor lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Crane! Oh Nestor is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Crane slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Nestor seems to have got his legs back now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nestor is thwarting Crane's attempts to control the position. Nestor tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Crane tries to get to full guard but Nestor has control of the leg. Crane connecting with a few gentle strikes. Crane trying to hold on to Nestor's head to control him but Nestor postures up.
Crane flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nestor is thwarting Crane's attempts to control the position. Nestor decides to return to a standing position.
And that's the end of the fight! Ichabod Crane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Crane has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
