The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tree Knee Dad throws a right hand that James ducks under and follows up with a left that James also avoids with ease.

James's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tree Knee Dad connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! James scrambles back to his feet.

James closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tree Knee Dad quickly recovers to half guard.

Tree Knee Dad has hold of James's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and James manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
