Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Obed Flying Fox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalle Natsisiwa!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Natsisiwa works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kalle Natsisiwa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Natsisiwa cracks a nice hook into Flying Fox's ribs.
Flying Fox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Natsisiwa's waist but Natsisiwa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Flying Fox off to one side.
Natsisiwa thuds a left hand into Flying Fox's body.
Flying Fox fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Donk. Natsisiwa catches Flying Fox right on the button with a cross.
Flying Fox shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Natsisiwa as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Obed Flying Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Flying Fox takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Natsisiwa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Flying Fox moves away.
Flying Fox has a takedown stuffed.
Natsisiwa connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Flying Fox momentarily.
Flying Fox on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Natsisiwa lands a jab to the nose.
Natsisiwa is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Flying Fox shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Natsisiwa as he avoids it easily.

Sloppy strikes from Natsisiwa. Those never looked like landing.

Flying Fox's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Natsisiwa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Flying Fox scrambles back to his feet.

and Natsisiwa counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Natsisiwa.
Natsisiwa has a couple of punches blocked by Flying Fox.

Flying Fox jumps guard and drags Natsisiwa to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Flying Fox is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Natsisiwa is aware though and is defending well.

Flying Fox has his foot on Natsisiwa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Natsisiwa works his way back into a safe position though.

Flying Fox manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Natsisiwa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Flying Fox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Flying Fox thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Flying Fox wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Flying Fox goes for an armbar but Natsisiwa turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Natsisiwa.

Natsisiwa is sitting in close to Flying Fox's body. Flying Fox has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Natsisiwa is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Natsisiwa is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Flying Fox.
