Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Texas Outlaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanji Kagawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Texas Outlaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kanji Kagawa! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kagawa tries to clinch but fails miserably and Outlaw counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kagawa looks to clinch letting Outlaw counter with a right hand. Kagawa avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kagawa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Outlaw.
Nice cross by Outlaw. Outlaw comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kagawa fails with a takedown attempt. Kagawa misses with a takedown and Outlaw counters with a three punch combo that has Kagawa backing up. Kagawa nods at Outlaw to acknowledge the strikes. Kagawa darts in looking for a takedown but Outlaw gets double underhooks and turns Kagawa into the cage. Texas Outlaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kanji Kagawa.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kagawa prevents Outlaw from breaking the clinch. Outlaw tries to circle away but Kagawa has him pinned against the cage. Kagawa is trying to pull guard but Outlaw turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Kagawa tries to pull guard but Outlaw holds him up against the cage and eventually Kagawa drops back down to his feet.
Kagawa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Outlaw avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Outlaw is pressed up against the cage. Kagawa has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Outlaw down to the mat. Outlaw avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kanji Kagawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from Outlaw as Kagawa shoots in. Outlaw changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kagawa gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Outlaw scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. No luck for Kagawa with that takedown attempt. Kagawa looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Outlaw. Kagawa does a little dance to reset his feet. Kagawa loads up on a big right hand but Outlaw slips the punch. Outlaw scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kagawa in his tracks. Outlaw lands a nice looking body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kagawa misses with a takedown attempt - Outlaw sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kagawa closes the distance and clinches up with Outlaw, looking for a takedown. Kagawa pushes Outlaw against the cage but Outlaw circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Outlaw defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kagawa. Outlaw connects with a superb combination that knocks Kagawa out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Outlaw before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Kagawa!
