PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Bullwinkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maksim Peggy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peggy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Killing in the name of... kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullwinkle misses with a two punch combination.
Bullwinkle throws a jab but it's blocked by Peggy.
Bullwinkle walks into a stiff left hand from Peggy.
Peggy doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Bullwinkle counters with a shoot takedown. Peggy fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Peggy has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Beauty School. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Bullwinkle is working hard here to advance position.
Bullwinkle postures up in Peggy's guard and throws a big left but Peggy blocks it.

Peggy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bullwinkle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Peggy wants to sweep here but Bullwinkle controlling him for the moment.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bullwinkle lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Bullwinkle has gone for a leg lock! Peggy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bullwinkle's guard.

Bullwinkle pushes a forearm under Peggy's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Peggy is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
