Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Benson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakon Lund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benson comes to the cage accompanied by 300 Violin - Orchestra. Lund has chosen The Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lund throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Benson.
Benson slips a jab and a cross from Lund.
Lund scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Benson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Nice strikes from Benson there.
Benson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lund knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Benson thows a huge punch but Lund dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lund is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Benson scores with a couple of nice shots.
Lund is looking to improve his position.
Benson slips a nice elbow through Lund's hands, connecting with Lund's forehead.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lund can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Benson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Benson slips a nice elbow through Lund's hands, connecting with Lund's forehead.
Benson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lund with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lund told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Benson is nestled in close to Lund, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Benson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Lund!

Lund tries to hold on but Benson pushes him away.
Benson lands a heavy elbow.
Benson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lund's face.

The referee warns Lund that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Lund is rocked!
Benson cracks Lund with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lund is still in real trouble! Can Benson finish him?
Lund is desperately trying to improve his position but Benson has a good base and remains in mount.

Benson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Benson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lund can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Benson connects with a bit shot that sees Lund covering up! More strikes from Benson and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Benson is our winner by TKO!
