The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McHerty is defended easily by Sinner.
McHerty blocks a jab.
Sinner misses with a lunging right hand
and McHerty finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
McHerty fails with a takedown attempt.
Shimmy Sinner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McHerty lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
McHerty moves forwards but Sinner connects with a nice, crisp jab.
McHerty misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sinner.
Sinner lands with a straight right. McHerty didn't see that one coming.
McHerty is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
McHerty glances at the clock... BAM! Sinner nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends McHerty crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, McHerty is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
