Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Timo Balles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Timo Balles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Shields!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balles misses with a few strikes there.
Balles misses with a body shot.
Good exchange - Shields coming out on top.
Shields fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Balles misses with an uppercut. Shields saw that one coming.
Balles fails to land with a series of punches.
Shields throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Balles's waist but Balles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shields off to one side.
Shields slips a jab and a cross from Balles.
Shields shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Balles pinned against the cage. Balles gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Balles throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shields counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Shields closes the distance and clinches up with Balles, looking for a takedown. Shields pushes Balles against the cage but Balles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Timo Balles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Shields.
Balles misses with the combination.
Balles stuffs the takedown.
Balles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Balles is breathing heavily.
Shields fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Shields tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Balles swivels and escapes.
Shields is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Balles fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shields fails with the takedown.
Balles falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shields counters with a nice uppercut.
Balles throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shields cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Shields closes this distance looking for a takedown but Balles circles away.
Timo Balles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shields lands a nice looking body shot.
Shields throws a good cross that connects.
Shields fails with the takedown.
Balles throws a sloppy body shot
and Shields counters with a series of strikes. Balles will be more careful next time no doubt.
Balles is rocked!
Shields checks a low kick from Balles.
Oh Balles is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shields connects with a stiff jab that staggers Balles - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
